In this episode, I chat with my friend Maggie. She is a vegetable farmer at Old Homeplace Farm in Oneida, Kentucky. We talk about what she and her family grow at their farm, what a CSA is, as well as the joys and challenges of growing food for the community. She shares stories of her childhood growing up in a vegetable farm in Ohio and tales about dung beetles and snakes. We also touch on rotational grazing and silvopasture. You can find Maggie at Old Homeplace Farm (their website) and on Instagram @oldhomeplacefarm. She delivers produce to the following counties: Clay, Laurel, Whitley, Leslie and Perry.
